Force of Impact
you know...like when Mustafah's fist meets your face!Located on the Hydraxis server, Force of Impact is a guild of like-minded, experienced, reliable players that want to continue to make end-game progression. We are a social, casual raiding guild. Casual in this case means that we are balancing our real-life time and our game time committments. We take raiding seriously, however, so if you sign up for a raid you are expected to be ready to go on time, be prepared and focused, and to stay for the duration of the raid.
We are looking for adult (age 21+) players only. Guild chat and vent chat is generally equivalent to NC-17 ratings and is often interlaced with innuendos, sarcasm, and the like. Foul and obscene language, however, is not tolerated.
Please review our Guild Rules & Policies then fill out an application to join us.

Hey all - need to update you all on some changes.
As you know, the officers have been working VERY hard to get a raid group going. For the last two months now, it just has not happened, for various reasons, but primarily because we no longer have enough people that want to and can commit to raiding. Part of what we love the most about WoW - besides our AWESOME guildies - is raiding. After much consideration, Cayce, Moriaila, and Eliesavage will be moving those toons to Kaizen so we can continue to raid.
Force of Impact is NOT dissolving. We are all still very much committed to this guild and to our friends. The rest of our toons - that we play on a regular basis - including Zaralin, Kruelmyst, and Elie are STAYING. And Mustafah - the big, sentimental lout that I love so much - is STAYING. Mehung - aka WhoTheHellIsBob - is STAYING. Oakin - the guild BEAST tank - is STAYING.
The structure, nature, and intent of the guild will remain the same, with the exception of raiding in new content. We would also like to get back to doing our RETRO RAIDS and ACHIEVEMENT RUNS (yes, this guild is full of achievement whores) on a night that works for most people.
That all being said, if there are others that want to raid, we can certainly understand if you want to move your raiding character to another guild. We do hope that you will consider taking only the one toon and leaving any alts so we can still run stuff together. And we still fully intend to run with the guild on heroics, etc,. even with the toons that are not in the guild.
So, to reiterate, Force of Impact is fine. Only one thing is changing. This will continue to be the guild of the truly AWESOMEST, AMAZINGEST, and the MOST FUNNEST (shut up, grammar police) people in this game.
May the Force (of Impact) be with you!

Some people are really getting the raiding itch! Yes, I know, they make a cream for that!
Let's start compiling a list of everyone's availabiltiy (days & times) AND roles (tank/heals/ranged/melee) in this thread http://forceofimpact.wowstead.com/forums/guild-forums/raid-availability/1786975-mop-raids-who-is-ready
Depending on results, we can start scheduling raids. If we don't have enough yet, we can help get everyone up to speed.
And don't forget - Tuesday nights 8pm server - Sha kill and LFR jointly with Kaizen for anyone that is on!

I keep hearing everyone saying how much they miss everyone else, but most folks don't want to get back to serious raiding yet. So here is the plan:
RADICAL RETRO RAID (F)RIDAYS!
Tonight's raids were such a smashing success that people have requested more! So FRIDAY NIGHTS at 8:30pm we will be getting our party on and killing everything in site. We may even try for some achievements if we are up for it.
So, don't even think about skipping out on this. I know where you live and I WILL hunt you down.
Sign up [here] so we know you are coming (ok, it is really so I know who I have to do some kung fu on when they don't sign up.)

You know who you are *cough cough Mustafah, Arieona, Elie cough cough* GRATS!

Two bosses down in Dragon Soul already. You guys are so awesome!!! But, please let me know who the knuckleheads are that have not reminded me to take a picture of our first kills!!!
........<\p>
Seriously, you guys are why this guild works. Want to know why? Here a just a few of the reasons:
- You will bring whatever character in whatever spec is needed to a raid because it is what the guild needs.
- You let the crazy raid leader try different strategies than the most common ones (and they sometimes even work!).
- You blame Elie whenever anything goes wrong.
- You don't get down on yourself or others when we get stymied.
- You are willing to run guildies through endless dungeons to get them the gear they need.
- You want to run everything as a guild as much as possible.
- You selflessly donate your materials to craft, gem, and/or enchant to make sure everyone is able to be the best they can be.
- You blame Elie whenever anything goes wrong.
- If a piece of gear drops that you are dying for, but it will benefit someone else a whole lot more, you will pass or give it to them.
- You selflessly donate materials for raid cauldrons and feasts (yes, fishing and herbing are boring and there are other more fun things you can be doing).
- You laugh, you joke, you show concern for people including what happens in RL.
- You blame Elie whenever anything goes wrong.
You - each and every one of you - are an amazing person that I am proud to call a guildie and a friend.

One year ago, Mustafah and I left a guild that we had been in for a long time and left a lot of the people that we enjoyed playing with, but the fact was that we were not enjoying the game. Guild politics and behaviors had become unbearably rude, condescending, and blantantly disresptectful - and not even to us necessarily - but I am not the type of person to put up with that.
So when we created Force of Impact, we knew exactly the type of guild we wanted it to be. We have always been more than clear about the intent of the guild. We feel very blessed that some of our friends from our previous guilds joined us and even more blessed with the new friends that we have made here.
This guild has made great progress in raiding. It was great to see people working together to get through the tough parts and celebrating together when we did. We are in the midst of the high-ranked guilds in progression, but we had to make a lot of compromises to get there.
Somewhere in the midst of these compromises we have lost sight of the purpose of the guild. Progress can made without the hardcore attitude. I know that some of you don't agree with that, we will just have to agree to disagree.
This is above all else a game. It is meant to be enjoyed. Real life is tough enough and nasty enough. We don't need the same thing here. Mustafah and I have discussed this at length between us, the officers, several raiders, and friends.
It is time that the purpose and intent of Force of Impact is re-established.
Force of Impact will continue to be a raiding guild. We have always tended to be a bit more on the semi-hardcore side than the casual side and we will continue to stay firmly there. We will not become a hardcore guild.
We realize that this is not the post that many of you expected. We expect that several of you may choose to leave. If that is the case, we will be sorry to see you go and we wish you the best of luck.
For those of you that choose to stay, we will continue to make progress. It may be a little slower than it has been, but it will be enjoyable.
The most important thing to remember is a guild is not just a group of players. It is also a group of people, each with their own wants and needs.
Whatever your decision, may the Force (of Impact) be with you!
